Preparing for Campaign Readiness with Agyl at Palmer College of Chiropractic

While preparing for a comprehensive capital campaign following a feasibility study, Palmer College of Chiropractic partnered with Plus Delta to strengthen fundraising discipline and operational clarity.

A Comprehensive Approach

Palmer entered a critical moment. With a proud history and national prominence in chiropractic education, the institution had long focused on advancing the profession itself. But campaign readiness required something more: sharper prioritization, stronger qualification, and greater fundraising discipline.

At the same time, the advancement team was building infrastructure and converting to Salesforce Affinaquest. Leadership recognized that data management alone would not drive campaign success.

Palmer needed structure, tools, and accountability to meet the moment.

The entire advancement team, along with the Chancellor, participated in the Discipline of Frontline Fundraising while managers also completed the Management of Frontline Fundraising. The team then engaged programmatic partners through the Advancement Partners Program, and continued to enroll new hires in multiclient cohorts to accelerate onboarding.

To reinforce this investment, Palmer implemented Agyl as its execution layer. Salesforce manages its fundraising data, but AGYL manages relationships, strategy, and discipline.

The Work

Agyl quickly became embedded in the daily workflow.

Frontline fundraisers now:

  • Prioritize the right prospects with real-time portfolio visibility

  • Identify stalled relationships immediately

  • Surface unanswered Donor Engagement Process questions at a glance

  • Tighten meeting cycles and follow-up discipline

  • Dictate contact reports between donor visits for speed and accuracy

Managers use Agyl to:

  • Diagnose qualification gaps

  • Identify patterns across portfolios

  • Conduct collaborative meeting prep

  • Reinforce the Donor Engagement Process discipline in coaching conversations

  • Accelerate onboarding of new fundraisers

The platform reinforces consistency across experience levels and sustains the investment in Plus Delta programs and methodology.

Impact

Within the first phase of implementation, Palmer has already observed meaningful shifts in how the advancement team manages relationships and prioritizes its work. Portfolios are becoming clearer and healthier, long-stalled prospects are being reset with defined next steps, and fundraisers are approaching outreach with greater discipline and confidence. Conversations with donors are tighter and more focused, while managers are using Agyl to coach more intentionally between meetings.

Agyl is also creating the operational clarity needed as Palmer prepares for campaign. Approximately 200 actively managed prospects are now being reviewed and positioned strategically, creating the clarity needed to align donor conversations with future campaign priorities such as capital projects, the Florida Campus, scholarships and endowment, and affordability initiatives.

Agyl is not a CRM replacement. It is a strategic operating layer that embeds fundraising discipline into daily work. As Palmer moves toward campaign launch, leadership has growing confidence that portfolios are becoming healthier, prospects are advancing with greater clarity, and the team is operating with shared language and shared expectations.

  • Agyl has transformed how we prioritize, qualify, and move prospects forward. It has embedded discipline into our daily work and strengthened our readiness for the campaign.
