As a Plus Delta Senior Consultant with over 35 years in leadership roles in higher education, George leverages his extensive frontline fundraising, alumni engagement, and athletic administration experience on behalf of his clients.
Prior to joining Plus Delta, George served as the Associate Vice President, Alumni Relations at Villanova University where he managed the alumni relations team and the Alumni Association board of directors, working closely with alumni leaders on a range of volunteer programs. During his first four years at Villanova, George served as Assistant Vice President for Athletics Development. Throughout his time in these two positions, George maintained a leadership-level donor portfolio, raising significant six and seven figure gifts. As a senior leader in University Advancement, George played a role in the success of Villanova’s For the Greater Great campaign, which raised $760M to support the university’s strategic plan and positioning as a national institution.
His prior experience includes serving as Director of Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation for over seven years at Roger Williams University and as Associate Director of Athletics for eight years at Brown University. Additionally, George has served in positions in athletics at Fordham University, the University of Pennsylvania, the United States Military Academy, and the Philadelphia Phillies.
George earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Finance from Villanova University. He also earned a M.Ed. in Athletic Administration from Temple University. George lives in Abington, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Valerie, and has three children, Jameson, Melia and Natalie.
