As Senior Consultant, John brings over a decade of fundraising experience to Plus Delta Partners with varying fundraising experiences across small non-profit organizations, higher education, and healthcare, including grateful patients, regional giving, corporate, and athletics development efforts. Prior to Plus Delta, he served as Executive Director of Development, Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement, where he oversaw the major gifts team and the overall $400M comprehensive campaign for Iowa Athletics as part of the broader $3B Together, Hawkeyes Campaign. Prior to that role, John served as the Regional Director of Development for the University of Iowa Health Sciences and UI Hospitals & Clinics. During his time with UI Health Sciences, he oversaw the direct fundraising efforts for the departments of Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Pathology, and Radiology.
In addition to his roles in higher education, John served as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Corridor Running Club, overseeing the non-profit's rebranding, membership model, and securing corporate sponsorships.
John graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Economics. He resides in Iowa City, IA, with his wife, Mackenzie, and their three children, Gabrielle, Greta, and Matthew.
